The entire atmosphere was drowned into Divine music. Vikram Bhaiya was on the stage, singing various divine bhajans. He was singing “Sai Ki Nagri”. The crowd were enjoying each and every line. I was listening to him live. We were waiting for Guruji to come. The Youth concert was really amazing!

We were eagerly waiting for Guruji and everything there was like a dream for me. We were standing in Sri Sri University site. And after a quite interesting wait, His car came. He opened the glass window and was looking straight into my eyes, smiling and blessing me. I was looking at Him and said “Jai Gurudev”. His car passed in front of me and I started running after His car. Mosi gave Him the garland and I was just looking at Him with a smile. I gave my flowers to the other devotee to give it to Gurudev because He went to the stage till I landed near His car. He was on the stage, looking fresh and Divine as He always used to be. I was admiring Him and I was standing near the stage with Mosi and Mummy. Everybody was in joyful mood. I was so happy that it cannot be written in words. My whole world was before me. At that time I had no desire and wish, I just wanted to be with Him, in His presence. Suddenly He walked through the stage and came near me. He was very near and watching me and smiling and we all were very excited and I said “Guruji Protect us’, He smiled and He was again looking at me with grace. He then moved along. He sat on the sofa.

And vikram bhaiya started singing and we all were singing “Shiva Shambho” and then we returned to Bhubaneswar.

Next day we participated in “MahaLaxmi Puja” with Him. It was so Divine atmosphere. The whole atmosphere was joyful due to the positive vibrations coming from the mantra chanting and the Homas. I was very Happy because this time I successfully gave flowers to Gurudev and touched His feet. Vikram Bhaiya was singing “Pahi Jaganmata” and we were all singing in unison. Guruji was doing Puja and we were all looking at Him with lots of wishes in our hearts. I was taking His pictures :) .

Puja was completed and He moved towards His car. I again touched Him and a positive vibration ran into me. I was happy. I went to the Divine shop and bought His photos and Cds. At that time, as I remember I was on the top of the world :) . We Love You Guruji :)

The three days holiday starts from today..............! Today was an awesome day!

The day started with the rain and when we were to go, the rain stopped and the beautiful sun came into the sky. The beauty of nature could not be described. The green grass had beautiful water droplets shining due to the sunlight falling on them. The sky was blue but there was hot outside. Then after coming from the college I was totally refreshed (even after seven hours of work). Sometimes this happens :) . So what are the planning for the weekends? Watching movies? Lots of Study? . Well both!! Few friends gave me Enchanted movie saying its a good one! And study is must. But we have the French Mid Semester on tuesday. We have planned to study two hours everyday in the reading room (RR). After dinner from 9 to 11 PM, we spend all the time solving french lessons and understanding different terms. Combined study has helped a lot! I hope that the Mid Semester goes well.

Anyways I have to study a lot! I should not miss this opportunity of study time, three consecutive holidays! Nice Happy Eid :) Have Fun :)

Summer Holidays

Summer Holidays are going on. I have spent nearly half of my Holidays and now feeling refreshed once again :) . I was really tired before the holidays and now totally fresh!! This is the time when you are free and can have the real flavour of the beauty of nature around you. This is the time for Monsoon. Our Mango trees are full of small green cute mangoes :) Now thinking of writing some nice posts coz I think this is the best time to do so as I am free and could have a really nice opinion discussions. I thought of reading nice books these Holidays but guess what!! Most of the time I was busy watching movies and buying new DVDs to watch more of them......!! I think this is because I have really missed my television at the Hostel :) :)

Before Holidays, you plan this or that, but during the holidays but when it actually comes to you, you do nothing but take rest and try to avoid any kind of stress or hard work. I was feeling like this too, but then also I compelled myself to read books(course books!!).Internet is something that makes a good timepass during holidays and is informative too!! So most of the time I am busy with my computer only.

So that's all for now see ya in the next post!! (And if you are having Holidays too),Have a rocking Holiday!!

Stressed again..........................!!

Well its the part of Life, you gets stressed because you want to be perfect. But the point is if nobody is perfect then why to be stressed of something nobody can actually achieve?? Oh my God!! Its so nice that the summer season is here again and now I can try all the delicious fruits of this season like Mangoes, Watermelons and Kakri(cucumbers)!! This is the time of the year we should consume a lot of water. Ok then next time something interesting will be there. Just posting as a routine to update the blog.

My Sweet Heart :)

I want to share a very beautiful experience of my life. I had a sweet little dog. We named him “Jerry”. The reason being that, we had a German shepherd before him “James” and he was quite huge! ! As compared to him Jerry was very little and tiny doggy. Hence He was like Tom and this one like Jerry (you must be knowing about Tom and Jerry Cartoons). Me and Jerry grew up with each other . I was a kid when he came into my life. I used to play with him, share all my chocolates and toffees with him and infact he was my buddy. I was very much emotionally attached to Jerry. Every day He used to come to the bus stop with Mummy and Mosi to take me home and again used to see me off every morning when I used to go to my school.
There was a lot of pressure from my school and family towards me to do well in the board exams and the one and only relaxing element in the house for me was Jerry. I have no brother or sister, so I used to feel lonely sometimes, before his coming into my life, but after that he never let me feel that. He was always there for me. When I used to be happy he used to jump around me wagging his tail, and whenever tears came from my eyes he used to sit and look at me and used to whine slowly. There was an interaction between me and him.
He couldn’t talk in our language but I used to understand everything without him saying anything and I am quite sure that he also used to understand all the things very clearly. I lost him the previous year; I have decided not to have any dog in my entire life. He is the only one and he will be the only one. Love you a lot Jerry, have a nice time wherever you are and “A Very Happy Birthday” to you. May God Bless You little one

If the others do not listen to our voice and if the Government is also neglecting something that is very important and needs instant treatement then we should go for it ourself. This is like setting an inspiration for the others who are shouting from years for justice and help. The major rivers of our country are polluted and many projects had been prepared to curb the pollutions, but none of them have been implemented effectively! What to do? Should we just sit back and watch the play of doing nothing? No, we should go and take the first step towards the development. That's what Our Guruji His Holiness Sri Sri Ravishankarji had done. He had himself cleaned the Yamuna river and had set an example for all of us who want to see the rivers clean and sparkling in the light of sun.Here is what a site says about His great effort :
"New Delhi: Art of Living guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar undertook the task of spreading awareness and sensitising people to the deteriorating condition of river Yamuna in New Delhi.
The weeklong cleanliness drive of the eight Yamuna banks, undertaken by Ravi Shankar and his organisation is aimed at pressurising the government to act speedily on cleaning up the river.

"We will all work together and pressurise the government to put a top on all the gutters flowing into the river. It is a not a project which will take 10-20 years, it can be done in 1-2 years," he said.
According to the Central Pollution Control Board's (CPCB), the water of the River Yamuna is unfit not just for drinking but also for bathing and washing. "

Back from stress................

Life is busy

Well now its the time when March is approaching and the weather is changing. Life has been also been changing a lot these days :) Anyways do you know what when the baby birds starts growing, their mother throws them from the nest so that they could learn how to fly :) (Birds of course save them if they couldn't do it! ). But I think that this trait is found in humans also. Anyways planned to watch a movie before the week ahead (on the labtop only!) Now it is the time to burn the midnight oil reading books!. Sometimes a bad day sometimes bad time!

Sometimes its not your day. I think it is something related to Nakshatra! It happens that your stars are not at the correct places. This is what happenig with me nowadays. I try something nice for me and ends up messing everything I thought of doing. I am really very upset and missing my family a lot at hostel. I just wants to say that I am very very upset :( :( :( .

Ratha Jatra, the Festival of Chariots of Lord Jagannatha is celebrated every year at Puri, the temple town in Orissa, on the east coast of India. The presiding deities of the main temple, Sri Mandira, Lord Jagannatha, Lord Balabhadra and Goddess Subhadra, with the celestial wheel Sudarshana are taken out from the temple precincts in an elaborate ritual procession to their respective chariots. The huge, colourfully decorated chariots, are drawn by hundreds and thousands of devotees on the bada danda, the grand avenue to the Gundicha temple, some two miles away to the North. After a stay for seven days, the deities return to their abode in Srimandira.
Ratha Jatra is perhaps the grandest festival on earth. Everything is on a scale befitting the great Lord. Full of spectacle, drama and colour, the festival is a typical Indian fair of huge proportions. It is also the living embodiment of the synthesis of the tribal, the folk, and the autochthonous with the classical, the elaborately formal and the sophisticated elements of the socio-cultural-religious ethos of the Indian civilization.Sanctity and Significance of Ratha Jatra
The festival is also known as Gundicha Jatra, Ghosa Jatra, Navadina Jatra, Dasavatara Jatra and by a variety of other names. For the devoted and believers, it is considered the most auspicious occasion. Rathe tu vamanam drishtwa punarjanmam na vidyate A glimpse of the Vamana, the dwarf form, an incarnation of Those who are fortunate to see the deities of the Srimandira in the Gundicha Temple, the final destination of the procession of the chariots, derive the benefits of a thousand horse sacrifices, an immensely pious deed. Kabi Samrat Upendra Bhanja in his famous Vaidehisa Vilasa mentions that the Lord comes out from his sanctum for participating in the Gundicha Jatra, another name of the Festival of Chariots, only for redeeming the fallen, the patita jana who get the opportunity to behold their dearest god at close quarters on this occasion. Similarly, saint poet Salabega waxes eloquent in praise of his dearest dark darling and says that the Lord swaying and moving like a wild elephant arrives at the Grand Avenue and rides his chariot and destroys in a flash all the sins of his devotees, even if these may be grave or unpardonable.
Lord Jagannatha, is sure to ensure emancipation, release from the cycle of birth and death.Jatra is an essential part of the ritual of the Hindu system of worship. Jatra literally means travel or journey. Normally, it is the representative deities of temples more popularly known as Utsava Murti in south and Chalanti Pratima or Bije Pratima in Orissa, partake in these journeys. It is rarely that the presiding deities come out of the sanctum for such ritual journeys. The Jatra for the Ritual Journey take two forms – one involving the short circumbulation around the temple and other involving a longer journey from the temple to some other destination. The Jatra is considered as an important part of festivities and ceremonies of each temple and is considered as a special and sacred occasion.Rath Jatra being unique among all Jatras is the grandest festival of the supreme divinity who has manifested himself in the Kali Yuga to emancipate humanity and to relieve them from their sufferings. Lord Jagannatha is identified fully with Vishnu and Krishna. In his original manifestation as Nilamadhaba, he was worshipped in a sacred Nyagrodha Briksha or banyan tree. The branches of the tree had spread for several miles and any one entering this area was instantly emancipated and was relieved of the travails of the birth and re-birth. In fact, the influence of Yama, the God of Death, is supposed to have been curtailed in the sacred city of Puri – Srikshetra on account of the presence of Lord Jagannatha and therefore it is also called the Yamanika Tirtha.
A glimpse of Lord Jagannatha on the chariot is considered to be very auspicious and saints, poets and scriptures have repeatedly glorified the sanctity of this special festival.The sanctity of the festival is such that even a touch of the chariot or even the ropes with which these are pulled is considered enough to confer the results of several pious deeds or penance for ages. In fact, there is a famous Oriya song which says that on this occasion, the chariot, the wheels, the grand avenue all become one with Lord Jagannatha himself.
The concept of the chariot has been explained in the Kathopanishada in the following words-
Atmanam rathinam viddhi sareeram rathamevatuBuddhim tu saarathim viddhi marah pragrahameva cha.The body is the Chariot and the soul is the deity installed in the chariot. The wisdom acts as the charioteer to control the mind and thoughts.
The Skanda Purana glorifies the sanctity of the Rath Jatra in the following words-
Gundicha mandapam namam yatrahamajanam puraAshwamedha sahasrasya mahabedi tadadvabat.

Shirdi Sai Baba is known as Avatar. He was a great Saint who lived in a village of Maharashtra called ‘Shirdi’. Due to His miraculous power and the benovelence and love, He became famous all over the world!!
When I was a kid I used to listen a lot of stories about Shirdi Sai Baba from mummy like when He turned an ordinary water into oil in Deepawli, He made a person alive and lame walk on his legs and many more!! But when I started watching Sai Baba serial on star plus by Ramanand Sagar, I got a great knowledge about Him. Baba was very simple and yet powerful, He was a great Yogi and led a life of fakir!!
He lived in a place called ‘Dwarika Mayee’ and called it as His mother.. He used to burn Dhooni there and the ashes came out of it,He used to give it to His devotees as a ‘prasad’, which was so powerful that it could heal any disease of the world!!
Today also when someone worships Baba with full devotion , Sai Baba helps him or her and fill their lives happiness!! His greatest teaching are ’shraddha’ and ’saburi’ means ‘to have faith’ and’wait for the right time to come’!! He always used to say’Sabka Malik ek’,that is, God is one!!Sai Baba is God for us and we should always worship Sai Baba with full devotion!!

Hi,Long time since I posted a new post! I was really busy and could not find time to do so!! Anyways the hot summer season is at its peak and I must say that this is a nice time to check out fruit drinks and other cold dishes. Healthy way is to have nice fruits like watermelon,cucumbers,lemon juices and orange juices(if you like it!!)...... I am trying watermelons and lemon juices!!

There are many other options also like various types of shakes and sharbats!! Have you tried out rasna!! I loved it when I was a kid but nowadays I just try to take real fruit juices instead of the packed ones..... Anyway you will see a few post on this topic soon......See you soon, take care!!Cheers!!

NAVRATRI is going to begin!! From 27th March 2009, Maa Durga is coming to stay with us. There is a belief that Maa Durga during the Navaratri days comes to Her 'mayaka', parent's home,stays here and then again return to Her 'sasural' , husband's house ,that is, returns to Her Husband "Lord Shiva"! Maa Durga is the Goddess worshipped in every part of the country whether North, South , East or West, like in Punjab(North), Bengal(East),Gujarat(West) Kerala(South).

I wait for Navratra all through the year and finally when Matarani comes I feel pleasure and enjoys these days!! Matarani is always there to take away Her bhakta's sorrow and problem,but Navratra are the special days when Maa Durga is worshipped especially by all of us!!Since childhood days, I am very much interesed in Durga Puja,and during October when Durga Puja used to start,there used to be holiday in our school(hey,hey,hey don't think that this is the reason!!). Actually as a child I liked to go and see Maa Durga's idol in various beautiful pandals. But as I grew up I understood the true meaning of Durga Puja and that is "Worship Maa Durga with full devotion and She will take away all the hurdles from your path".

MAHASATSANG WITH GURUJI!

We attended the Mahasatsang of our Guruji! It was to start on 6:00 PM and we reached there at 5:25 PM. The Morabadi ground was full of volunteers and the people who came to attend the mahasastang. There was a big stage followed by another munch in which Guruji used to walk and shower the flowers from! We went and sat on the chair. Then sudenly my Mosi asked me if I want to get some cds, and I said "YES!" I would like to. We went to the divine shop and bought the Cds and Guruji's photos! Then the volunteers started playing the Bhajans "Shiv Shambho Shambho".

We were just waiting for Guruji to come and at 6:45 Pm His sofa was decorated by His mustard shawl and we all knew that He has came. Then suddenly he walked on the stage and came and sat on the sofa. His disciples and singers Shaliniji and Srinivas ji started singing "Lambodra" and Guruji started walking on the stage and blessing all of us!
We all ran near the stage with full speed and I started rcording Him in my camera, I was shouting "Guruji" as loud as I could so that He would see me!!. There was a green carpet in which Guruji asked us to sit down ,and we all sat there and I started clicking as much photos as I can. There was a large set up of Sanskar Tv to record Guruji's programme.

We were sitting infront of Sanskar channel workers and listening to Guruji!!
Then Jharkhandi dance was performed by the people and suddenly my Mosi, Mummy said that Guruji is also dancing with them, I ran more closer towards the munch and started the video recording and recorded this beautiful moment in my camera. Then Guruji told us many important things and we did Dhyan with Him. Then there were more bhajans like " Hari Sundar Nanda Mukunda" and many beautiful bhajans.. It was all fun and I must say that this was the Golden period of my life!! I thank God and Sai Baba for all this beautiful experience.!!

Today is Mahasatsang with Guruji in Ranchi and we are going to attend the same!! I have been waiting for this day to come from so many days, and the day has came. Its such a beautiful experience, right now I am feeling very excited and equally nervous, I'll tell you about it further after coming back!!

CELEBRATION BEGINS!!

Hi Friends, The festival of Holi has been started in Vrindavan and people are celebrating it with their full joy. Really those days when Lord Krishna used to play holi in the vrindavan was the magnificent era of Indian Spiritualism.
In the times of Lord Krishna, they used to play holi with kesar, flower petals,sandalwood and scents. The scene must be very beautiful!! But today, in this developed world, people uses the dangerous chemicals and colors to play holi. What has been developed?? Is this the sign of development?? Only making nice devices and machines is not enough!! We should think in a wider prospective for human life and nature.
Well there are many devotees of Lord Krishna who has written beautiful proses on him,like Tulsidas,Surdas, Mirabai and Kabir and many more!! They spent their whole life praising Lord Krishna, really they are the greatest devotees of Him.
Today also when we listen to Bhagwat Katha and leelas of little Kanha,we enjoys it as much as the Gopis must have enjoyed watching Him doing the same!! It is well known that even listening to his leelas help us to get rid of our 'paap' or sins. I hope that Lord Krishna bless us all!!.

PATHAN BROTHERS ROCKS !!

Hi Friends, Yesterday's T-20 match was marvellous! It was a full action packed match and every ball was giving a new turn to the match. There was a time when Sri Lanka made a mammoth score of 170/4. Sri lanka was in a good score. When India came to bat, the upper order shattered like the deck of cards. But hey hey hey!! wait a minute, two brothers Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan saved the match by smashing the fours and sixes just at the right time.India were struggling at 115-7 chasing a 172-run target before the Pathan duo steered their side home with four balls to spare in the first-ever Twenty20 game in Sri Lanka.
Yusuf Pathan made 22* runs out of just 10 balls and with two sixes and one boundary in his pocket while his younger brother, Irfan Pathan smashed two sixes and two boundaries and scored 33* runs out of 16 balls. This is not all, the brothers also showed their talent in spinning the ball. I. Pathan took one and Y.Pathan took 2 wickets.
Y.pathan was declared the man of the match!! Really their Parents must be very proud of them today!!We watched the whole match and after the closing six by I.Pathan we could hear the crackers bursting in the air showing that "India is the Best!!"

Hi,His Holiness Sri Sri Ravishankarji (Guruji) is visiting our city and organising a mahasatsang and pranayam and dhyan shivir over here. Oh lucky me! Me and my family are just racing to get the pass! We are really excited and want it to happen early. Truly February is a fantasic month for us! But I have to concentrate on the competition exams as well, But I think that meditation will truly increase my concentration in studies and ofcourse Gurujis blessings is always with me!
